The Swedish sun shined bright and made everything right when, to our delight, Conjure took the whip and won the Swedish Championship! On August 16, 2014, Conjure became a Swedish Champion at the dog show in Norrkoping, Ostergotland, Sweden. He returned home with his international championship because he now has his championship in three different countries – Canada, USA and Sweden.
Year End Results: Conjure is now #9 in Bernese Mountain Dog points and #5 in All Breed points. At the end of 2013, Conjure has had 17 group placements, including 2 Group 1 wins and 37 Best of Breed awards.
January 2014: Conjure won Best of Breed both days at the Indio show. He also won a 5 point major on Saturday, completing his U.S. championship. On Sunday, our up and coming star, Magic Berners Mentalist received a 4 point major at 7 1/2 months of age. On Sunday, at the Cow Palace dog show, Conjure won Best of Breed over 35 other dogs. To date, Conjure is ranked #3 in Breed Points and #1 in All Breed Points.
For the weekend of the 9th and 10th and the weekend of the 15th through 18th of November, Conjure was at dog shows in Arizona where he won Best of Breed every day of showing. He also won one Group 1, three Group 2's and one Group 3. Every other day, he made the cut in the working dog class. We kiss his golden paws every night!
At the dog show in Pleasanton, California, on the weekend of October 18th through 20th, Magic Berners Atlantis received a 5 point major, Best of Winners and an Award of Merit on Friday's showing. He became a U.S. Champion! Magic Berners Slight of Hand "Vanish" received a five point major on Sunday and became a U.S. Champion! Alpenspirit It's Our Game "Conjure" took select dog on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, he took Best of Breed and a Group 4.
On September 28th and September 29th,Conjure was at the San Luis Obispo Dog Show. He was Best of Breed both days and received a group two on Saturday. Conjure traveled to New Mexico for a dog show that took place October 4th through October 7th. He was Best of Breed on all four days and, to our delight, he received the following awards: Friday – Group two Saturday – Group two Sunday – Group two Monday – Group one Keep conjuring up those points, Conjure!
Berntiers Atlantis scored a big hit at the BMDCA National Specialty when he took home Winners Dog, while competing with over 104 other non-champion male dogs! Way to go Atlantis! Magic Berners Vanish took home a Group 1 placement in Futurity and a Group 2 placement in Sweepstakes!
Magic Berners Voodoo casts her group placement spell again on May 4th and May 5th at the Rio Hondo Kennel Club Dog Show with a Group 3 placement in Working Dogs on both days!
Watch for the acting debut of Magic Berners Merlin (9 weeks old) and Magic Berners Psychic (13 weeks old) on the TV show "The New Normal" - Episode "Dog Children." Filming for the show took place on January 21st and January 23rd.
Christmas and New Years was a great time for us! We got to spend a lot of extra time with all our four legged kids.
